This Oregon Ripping Chain is designed for use with chain-type sawmills. It has a special factory grind for making dimensional boards and planks from larger timbers by ripping, or cutting parallel to the wood grain. It is not recommended for use with handheld chain saws. The LubriLink™ tie straps help keep oil on the chain. The Vibe-Ban™ chassis design reduces vibration 25% or more at the handles. Made with patented steel for greater durability, especially in cold conditions.
